Anyone have any experience with Extavia? I'm changing over from Avonex.

Three months in with the Avonex pen and I just can't do it anymore. It usually takes me a couple of hours to make myself do it and I dread it for days leading up to it. A couple of weeks ago I hit a nerve or something and it was painful further up my thigh from where I injected. This meant that l...

Starting Extavia tomorrow

I feel like I have been in a weird place since being diagnosed in July. This interim period has definitely had its challenges. Just hoping that commencing some treatment may help me mentally move forward! Thanks for reading 😁

Hair thinning Extavia

hello everyone :) I was wondering if anyone has experienced hair thinning on interferon beta 1b (I'm currently on Extavia) From what i understand/I have read it appears to be a rare-ish side effect of this type of medication, but I am interested to see if anyone personally has had this issue too, t...

Super confused which 1 to pick?

Which DMDs should I choose to start? I have to make a decision on which DMD to start and would really loved to hear what you all would recommend. My choices are Avonex, Rebif, Extavia, Copaxone, Tysabri or Gilenya

As I have relapsing/remitting I have been offered DMDs so do I go down the less aggressive like Avonex, Extavia or plegridy. Or the more aggressive and more dangerous route of...

overdone it?

hello friends :) I've been reading shift.ms for a while now. I'm Sylwia from Poland. I have quite agressive MS - relapses every month now :( I've already tried Extavia, Gilenya - on the second one I had 2 relapses/year. But it was too much for Polish health law and they took that away from me. Soon...
