Waiting on my MRI

Hi all. I'm Emma and new to the site, not sure if I'm doing this right. I saw a neurologist about 4 weeks ago and i have my MRI on the 8th of September. I'm nervous of what the result will be and more so will they be able to tell anything from it. She said due to my symptoms and age it was right to...

MRI's

Hi :) ! How many times do you get an MRI done? I was supposed to get mine in June (year follow up) but my old neurologist (searching for a new one) said there wasn't a point in getting it because I decided that I did not want to go on a treatment..

Mixed emotions at MRI results

Hi everyone. Haven't posted much lately but I felt inclined to share today. So, I hadn't had a brain MRI in 2.5 years, and they finally set me for one last month. I don't see the dr until February so I asked my chiropractor (who also does neuro rehab etc) to get the results for me. We went over th...

No change in MRI so why am I unhappy?

Am I crazy? I just got my annual MRI back, official read is no significant change. So why am I feeling worse? Fatigue and pain, worsening numbness, tingling, balance off. Or, am I just magnifying all my old symptoms in my head? How can I feel so bad and look seemingly so good? I need some grounding ...

I've never seen my MRIs

I would like to see or even get hold of a copy of my first MRI Scan and the follow up one with contrast if possible, I've not ever seen them in full, only a few brief and random images. Could my MS Nurse possibly email them to me?.

I had an MRI today on my brain, I have had one before but tbh forgot what it was like. Anyway it was bloody awful as expected! I was really worried as when I thought it was all over he said I’m going to put you further in and do your neck as well. I wasn’t expecting that and was then in the scanner...

MRI follow up/ neurology appointment

Hi guys, so I had my first follow up appointment today to discuss my MRI results, and my diagnoses in general. My neurologist has said that it's quite uncommon for someone with suspected MS as young as me (26) to have motor and bladder problems, he seemed to be suggesting I had it quite severe. I ju...
