MRI Scans

hi MS guys 😀 I want to put out there does anyone else feel that the MRI scan for MS might be a bit misleading. I only ask because I've got a copy of my scan (googly eyes & everything!) & to my untrained eye I can't see one lesion. The dictionary defines a lesion as an injury, wound or tumour and all...

One line MRI results?!

So, my MS had a very punchy start. A Neuro told me, dismissively, that there were "too many lesions to count" I'm now on Tysabri, and mercifully, it's given me a break. My last MRI results said "MS is stable, which is a relief". That was it. I'm so, so grateful it's calmed down, but equally this ...

Time from MRI/LP to diagnosis?

Hi everyone, I have been having symptoms lately that look and sound a lot like MS. I’ve been told by doctors that this is their main concern but they’re really limiting my ability to walk, go outside and live my life. I had a spine and head MRI without contrast as outpatient, then I was admitted ...

MRI and sedation.

Went for an MRI last night..had MRIs before but I completely freaked out with this one..I was fine right up to when the nurse put the heavy medical camera over my face.. I could feel my breath and my body would not stop shaking so they couldn't proceed and now have said about getting sedated for it....

Spasms/Muscle Jerks and MRIs

Hello all, I have my annual MRI in a few days and I’m having a lot problems with my upper body/shoulders spasming and jerking. Does any one have any tips for how to manage this during an MRI? Or is there something I should asks the techs for? Thanks so much!

MRI

At first MRI’s didn’t bother me too much… When I was first diagnosed I was in the hospital for a week and was so drained, fatigued and getting woken up every so many hours didn’t help. I was scheduled to have an MRI and actually fell asleep during one of them. But now, about 4 years in and so many M...

Access to MRI scans?

I asked for a copy of my scans but was told I'd have to pay for it. A colleague got hers on a CD ROM! Anyone know how to go about this as I'd dearly love to see which bits of my brain are "interesting"?!

Hello. I just joined looking for answers to my constant symptoms. It took 9 months since onset of symptoms to see a neurologist as they narrowed down other possible areas of concern. I’ve had so many tests.. nothing is ever wrong. But is it possible to have MS with active symptoms and have an unrema...
