Why do symptoms worsen despite no new lesions?

Hello - I have Primary Progressive MS, officially diagnosed Jan '21. I've had 2 MRI scans since, both of which 'show no new lesions in the brain or spine'. I'm wondering if anyone can explain why my symptoms are still gradually worsening? I'm not drastically worse, but there's certainly a difference...

Itching symptoms

Before the itchin was there, a week ago, I did not realize that this is actually a Symptom. What should I say...I hate it. Will call my neurologist tomorrow morning.

Flare ups, relapses, daily symptoms

Does anyone else find that they rarely have totally symptom free days, which are worsened by (extra!!) tiredness or stress? And during relapses, 'old' symptoms tend to flare up, too?

Symptoms I already have

Although I was only diagnosed a couple of weeks ago my neurologist feels that I have probably had MS for 4 years already. For this reason I already have lots of symptoms. I’ve yet to start treatment but I was wondering if when I do start I’m likely to see any improvement or whether it just slows do...

symptoms worse after starting DMT?

newly DX in September . Nuero refused to specify straight away but stated wanted to start strong so started me on Ocrevus in December. Now I am still new to the MS world but I feel like my symptoms are significantly worse then this time last yr. anyone else feel like their DMT making you worse

Do DMTs help with MS symptoms? And is anxiety an MS symptom?

Hi, I have two questions i’m hoping to get some help with! Do DMTs help existing MS symptoms? Considering ones like ocrevus, kesimpta and Tysibri. Or will they just help to prevent the relapses? New symptoms

Are all new symptoms the result of new lesions? I've had a series of new symptoms which (luckily so far) have come and gone in a couple of weeks each time, but with only one or two days before something else starts, for several months now.
