Life after Lemtrada

I started Lemtrada June of 2018, completed May of 2019. It wasn’t an easy treatment. Ms for me began in 1995 (17 years old). Around 29 years of interferons…betaseron and then avonex. Then I stopped dmt’s and tried just diet…..bad idea.🤦🏼‍♂️. With my ms progressing and shouldering from RRMS to ...

Covid & Antivirals

Just thought it was worth sharing my experience in case anyone (in the UK) is unfortunate enough to catch Covid now that it's doing the rounds again. I did a lateral flow test as soon as I felt unwell (high temperature, headache etc) and got straight on to 111 when I got my positive Covid result. ...

In need of treatment advice - Kesimpta vs Ocrevus

Hi guys! I had a Tysabri infusion last week and was told I had tested positive for JCV, It also happened to be my 24th infusion, so it was potentially my last Tysabri infusion. I had a call from my MS Nurse to say that my neurologist wants to re-test, so I have to go in again for bloods. However, sh...

Nystagmus

Hey :) In the midst of a relapse. Nystagmus & vertigo being the tell tale symptoms this time round. I’ve suffered with optic neuritis. Though my vision has never been the same, it did improve and I became accustomed to a change in sight. Now nystagmus 🤯😵‍💫 just curious, those who’ve experience...

Hi all

Hi folks - dx RRMS in 2017, took it well because the alternative based on symptoms was looking like a brain tumour, had two rounds of Lemtrada in 2018 and 2019, and generally doing alright. Been meaning to join for a while. Not a fan of a pity party or competing over who has it worst, but always h...
