Lemtrada (also known as alemtuzumab or campath) is a disease modifying treatment (DMT) for highly active relapsing remitting multiple sclerosis. Lemtrada is given as an intravenous infusion (drip), often in two treatment courses, twelve months apart. Clinical trials have shown that Lemtrada reduces relapses by around 50% compared to a placebo.Ask the community your questions about Lemtrada or read about other people's Lemtrada MS experiences.

Has anyone gone through the Lemtrada process? I have done it 3xs. I am sinking into another attack slowly and am feeling bee stings and shocks in my body that are leaving my muscles tight and tired! The stings are very painful and are causing problems when I’m out and about! Any suggestions other than rest to calm them down? I really don’t want yet another steroid!

Lemtrada then Kesimpta

Hi, new here. 👋🏻 Just looking to have conversations with others who understand what I’m going through on a daily basis. Anyway, I was dx in July 2018. By September 2018, I had started on Lemtrada. Only a few months after my 5 year DMT monitoring period concluded, my neurologist put me on Kesimpt...

Post lemtrada isolating with kids

Hi all 😊 Have any parents had lemtrada? How did you manage isolating for the six weeks afterwards? Did you still do school and nursery drop offs? Did you manage to avoid catching any bugs? Just about to have my third round of lemtrada. Any advice appreciated! Thanks 😊

Ocrevus advice

Hi all! I am due to be starting Ocrevus in the next few weeks and wondered if anyone had any tips, or any feedback on how the treatment is, or any side effects they had? I have been through many treatments during my MS journey (Rebif, Tysabri and Lemtrada) but have recently had more activity on my...

Lemtrada

Hello, i am currently having my 1st round of alemtuzumab. I’m feeling rough on day 4 but not sure how to describe it. When people say they feel like they’ve been hit by a bus, do they mean pain?? And how is the datigue? Inability to get up or feeling no energy to do things?

Lemtrada

Hi all. I'm thinking about asking my neurologist about doing this treatment. Has anyone done it and if so has it been successful?
