Benign ms

Hello. I wanted to find out if anyone has had no relapses for years and then had a significant one. I was diagnosed in September 2019 with optic issues and a numb chin on one side but since then nothing. I am on Aubagio and have been well since. I feel like I am in some ways “free” of MS . If I have...

My neuro says my MS is running a benign course,...

I haven't really had a flare up for 15 years (I'm now 45). I would love to know if anyone else has been in this position and did it remain benign ? I realise I am very lucky, but wish I knew a bit more about the future.

Well meeting with the. Neurologist went well. I have benign RRMS.

Going for another MRI in January, after that neurologist will see if he can get me into the London MS clinic or the one in Hamilton to get set up with an MS Doctor. Been a long process, bit it's all about Patience.🙂

Newly diagnosed benign ms

hi there this is my first post I have very recently been diagnosed with benign ms it all started back 12-13 years ago when I had optic neuritis and was told it could be a early sign of ms which I didn't give a second thought to being only 19-20 years of age. Then in 2010 I had facial numbness which ...

Non-progressive/benign(?) MS

Hello all. I was originally diagnosed with MS in 2002. Optical neuritis was my main symptom - in the following years I had a few unexplained falls, just walking one moment and dropping on the pavement the other, developed depression, hypothyroidism (connected? I don't know) and fatigue. My last c...

How benign is benign? To treat or not?

How benign is benign? Would you ever decide to stop treatment? I haven't posted here before, although I've sometimes browsed. But now I'm pondering a big question about possibly benign MS: How benign is benign enough to consider stopping treatment - when that treatment has a significant negative i...

benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) & Epley manoeuvre

I'm suffering with a vertigo/dizziness at the moment and it's getting me down. I get it often and it'd be nice to try and get rid. I've been reading that the Epley repositioning manoeuvre can get rid of symptoms in about 90-95% of people with BPPV (the GP agrees i have classic symptoms). Has anybod...

Benign MS

Hi all I was just wondering whether anyone else had been diagnosed with benign MS. I was over 10 years ago but in all that time I've never actually found anyone else that has. I've had some people who 'claim' I don't have MS as it's not the 'proper' kind (mad hey). Would be interested to hear fro...

RRMS,SPMS,PPMS,BENIGN!!!!

RRMS SPMS PPMS BENIGN Yes I said it before, we are all different, we all have different feelings, thoughts, some are better /worse than others, we live in different countries. We need to accept it, that we have MS. My theory is we got it for a reason. WHY? Well we need to figure out that one. We a...

Changes in behaviour

I've had "benign"MS for a while 20 years or so, with no motor and little sensory problems, but I have noticed changes in my behaviour that are slightly concerning such as risk taking, disinhibition, and being detached emotionally from things that really should be attached. From believing I was fortu...

Recurring viruses or MS

G'day everyone, I have been dx with Benign MS due to some nice lesions, a lumbar puncture, and some weird history. Parallel to that, I keep getting what appear to be viral infections, for about 4-5 years, every 3 months or 6 months I do get pneumonia and bronchitis, and sore throat and ears etc, as...
