Benign ms

Hello. I wanted to find out if anyone has had no relapses for years and then had a significant one. I was diagnosed in September 2019 with optic issues and a numb chin on one side but since then nothing. I am on Aubagio and have been well since. I feel like I am in some ways “free” of MS . If I haven’t had a relapse in 2 years, might it be a very benign form, or has anyone else been fine for this kind then relapsed? Am I bringing unrealistic? Thank you
@Red42

I know what you mean. I have RRMS too and also on aubagio. Iv not had a full blown relapse since starting this medication but several flare up's, mostly caused by heat and stress. I don't think your being unrealistic at all. I have a friend who's ppms and I wonder why we have the same desease yet very different forms.....makes you wonder🤔 We are all different 🙏

@Red42 thanks for replying. I was nervous to post as I know I am very lucky not to be progressing. I pootle along fine in life, and then have a panic out of nowhere, that I am fooling myself and need to plan for the future.
