Will the UK follow this U.S. DMT trend?

Crutches v walker for stamina

Does anyone have any thoughts re 2 X crutches against a walker in terms of enabling me to build my stamina for walking? My ego is opting for the crutches on every occasion, but I tire fairly quickly, really have no concept how far I am able to manage comfortably without so doing, and then the urgent...

Do you love cycling but find balance a problem?

I feel like my MS has got worse and I cannot walk very far anymore, but I do not want to use a wheelchair as I want to be upright for as long as possible. If I could ride my bike then I could travel further and would not feel so restricted. I am too unstable on my two wheel bike but I am convinced...

Going off treatment...?

Hi everyone, I am 50 and have had MS for almost 25 years. I have been on Tecfidera for ten years and my Neurologist noticed my white blood cell count taking a downward trend since I started it. He wants me to stop taking it for six months to see if there are any changes in my blood tests. The thoug...

Wobbly Wonky Walking and recovery time?

Hello everyone. Am currently recovering from my 6th relapse in 2 years. I got out of hospital about a week ago (after 4 weeks... home bed is sooooo nice!), and am now at home, managing (with services / help), but really really over it. I am still using crutches (elbow crutches) to get around. Somet...

Bought a hot looking Walker!!

I finally bought a trendy looking walker and only use it when I need to walk long distant walks. I love it, it feels safe and I feel confident. I have a walking stick but no luck getting use to it.

Facing the music...

Hi folks, it's been a while I know. That was down to me attempting to convince myself that this thing wasn't real, i guess 'deniability' would be the operable (inoperable?) word. Anyway, I can't hide any longer, approx 2:30 am this morning I was lying on my bed (couch actually, always preferred to ...

I was starting to slowly recover & got pregnant again & took a nose dive. I am positive pregnancy put me here. My MS nurse said "I've h...
