Rebif v Betaferon

Hi, I was diagnosed with MS just over 2 weeks ago. I was given the option of 6 treatments. I then narrowed it down to three: 1) rebif, 2) tecfidera and 3) betaferon. I just ruled out tecfidera because of the link to PML. From your own experience would you recommend rebif or betaferon? They both see...

Hi fellow clumsy folks! I am 30 years old and was diagnosed in October of 2020. I live in South Africa and have been on 3 different DMT's. 1st was Betaferon, second Fingolimod, currently on my 3rd(Kesimpta - Ofatumumab - in S.A we call it Bonspri), but there are signs of another flair, more activity and new lesions on my brain - waiting to see my Neurologist on the 4th of February. Can someone offer some insight to what my options are from here? If they have had a similar journey perhaps? Also, any advice regarding questions to ask my doctor would be much appreciated!

Thinking of just stopping Betaferon

I've been taking Betaferon for over 4 years now and to tell you the truth I'm sick and tired of the way it rules my life! I have no side effects apart from bruising, but am just fed up of the injections which I hate doing and don't particularly want to go onto another drug. I have MS, it will get ...

Betaferon and contortion

It is suggested that you should avoid injecting into the same place twice in a row and the patient diary suggests 8 injection areas: upper arms, stomach, thighs and buttocks, left and right side of each, proposing rotating through each area 6 times before you get back to the same square 48 injection...
