A dose of good news

We all face so much fear and have been on the receiving end of some of the worst news. So I wanted to share that it’s been 3 months since my first Ocrevus infusions and I have moments of almost feeling normal. You know: like the old me. Maybe I’m adjusting to my new diagnosis (just 4 months) or mayb...

So I’m terrified

Not of the diagnosis but of the fact that im about to make the move to stop working all together. I have optic neuropathy in both eyes now and im going blind. I can’t make out most things and driving is a hazard. I’m about to go on short term disability for the next few months to rest my eyes and sp...

Initial diagnosis, curious on people’s experience with forgoing conventional medicine?

Hey friends, first off, happy to be here! I received my initial disgnosis of MS a couple of weeks ago now which was later confirmed with a spinal tap. I am a 31y/o female who went into the ER with optic neurotis being my only symptom and came out with this diagnosis. We have not started our family...

Oral surgery question

Hi everyone. I’m new here and am looking at a probable MS diagnosis. I have some additional testing to get done, but everything is pointing in that direction. In addition to that, I am scheduled for a gum grafting procedure next week. My neurologist said it’s fine to have it done, but I’m anxious ...

Recent diagnosis

Good morning, I’m Jeff and MS is still rather new to me. I struggle daily with my balance and heavy legs but I’m getting better at managing my day to day. I just wanted to introduce myself and say hi. Thanks for listening.

Diagnosis drama

Hi I'm new here and looking for info, advice, and any help possible. Been dealing with the autoimmune battle for over 20 years. First they sent me to a Rheumatologist and he thought I had Lupus but then decided a year later that I didnt have enough positive markers for it. After years of telling my...

Medical negligence!

Turns out I had non-specific lesions on my brain. I was having neuro symptoms when they found them, but they found them to be so “unimportant”…they LEFT IT OUT OF MY FINAL MED REPORT…..then slapped me with a psych diagnosis….now 2.5 years later my symptoms are worse and I’m disabled….im pissed. I’ve...

Travel Insurance

Could anyone recommend an insurance provider who is reasonable? I am having difficulty finding a provider who won't gouge me because of my diagnosis.

I got diagnosed a month ago after a 2 year long struggle of not knowing what was wrong, now I have that diagnosis I feel like an imposter, like I’m not “unwell” enough to say I have MS. I’ve also been in denial about it pretty much since I was told. Has anybody else had this? If so how do I stop these feelings?
