Delayed Diagnosis (Legal)
I am new to this community, and I'm grateful for it, and so I hope this question is ok to ask:
I was recently incarcerated, and without a diagnosis of MS, I gave prison medical staff plenty of information to lead to the diagnosis.
I know this because since my release, my Provider has very quickly brought me to the diagnosis.
What bothers me is that she will not write a letter stating that an earlier diagnosis would have been a benefit to me, when we all know that is true with MS. (Right?)
Is this normal for a Primary Care Provider? Should I find a new Provider? Should I seek this assistance elsewhere? If so, where should I start?

Your neurologist should be in charge of multiple sclerosis with you. Lots of invisible syptoms we can feel, or know its going on. On the surface no one has a clue. I was 24 and my right eye just froze had no control. Sent to a neurologist my first Mri I had 32 lesions.
