Summer heat.

How are people dealing with the heat in the UK? I get so much fatigue. Pins and needles in my hands never seem to go away and my back pain keeps flaring up also. I’m currently taking Amitriptyline (but not working). I plan on going back to GP in a couple of weeks.

I take pregabalin 150mg three times a day. The burning and pain in my legs and buttocks are intense. Pregabalin takes the edge off but I am always in pain. I've had Amitriptyline and Gabapentin in the past. Any advice what I can do to ease the pain?

Hi fellow. I'm having more regular balance issues and feeling very very tired. Is this down to MS progression? I'm on Tecfidera and Gabapentin plus Amitriptoline. Just feel totally knackered also think I'm getting a bad cold as my head really sore too. My balance hasn't been great either

Medication - Amitriptyline

Hi have been talking 10mg of this medication but not getting much relief for my burning feet. I thought I would increase to 20mg a day but I don’t know if it’s just me or it’s just a coincidence but the burning has got worse. Any thoughts welcome

Amitriptyline: the neurologist's dirty little secret

A very interesting article from Professor Gavin Giovannoni. Don't be freaked out. Read it all for context. Gavin does enjoy have a dig at neurologists he sees as a bit lazy sometimes. https://gavingiovannoni.substack.com/p/amitriptyline-the-neurologists-dirty?utm_source=publication-search&utm_medi...

…all such a pain!

… Is everyone else also in constant pain?! In 4 years (since diagnosis), throbbing / burning pain in my feet / lower legs has been constant. There’s never a second of the day or night when I don’t feel it. They give me Amitriptyline for it and that doesn’t even touch it so I dont bother with that an...

Does anyone take gabapentin for the nerve issues (burning and numbness?). The amitriptyline I’m taking isn’t really working, but I’m still working full time and don’t want it to affect my work schedule?
