Trigeminal Neuralgia

I started with TN about 2 months ago. I do t think anything specific triggers the attacks, but I was wondering if and what anyone else does to help ease the pain? I’m in a low dose of Pregabalin that’s not really helping at the moment.

Trigeminal neuralgia

I recently experienced TN for the first time. Is it possible that it will eventually just run its course? Obviously I find carbamazepine very helpful but will I always need to be sure to stay stocked up with it?

Trigeminal neuralgia nerve block clinics stopped?!

I've had trigeminal neuralgia since 2015 when I was diagnosed. It's become a bit more prominent and a problem in my life since my MS diagnosis. I was previously on tegretol (carbamazapine) for a period of time, unfortunately that stopped working even when increasing. I was then given the option of...

Trigeminal neuralgia

Hi, I've had a relapse with the most excruciating electric shock like pain in the head. I've been told it's trigeminal neuralgia which can be triggered by MS. I've been told I may need epilepsy drugs to manage the pain. Has anybody else experienced this. My Dr has not been helpful and in fact has ca...

Trigeminal neuralgia

Hi all. Anyone out there had TN on both sides of the face at the same time? The pain in my face can be excruciating particularly around and behind my eye sockets and upper cheek. Occasional shooting pains but mainly constant pain and burning. Is it just me? Thanks
