JCV

Hi All, I've been on Tysabri for almost 3 years and my JCV has always been negative but from having a negative result in February I've just had a medium to high positive result. Since being on Tysabri I haven't relapsed so I'm worried about having the treatment stopped. Do you think I would be bet...

That sounds confusing! He said you're negative so...

ecently had my MRI results and (as I kinda suspected after a rough few months) had new lesions.I'm currently on Plegridy (moved from Tecfidera as I'm JCV positive and my lymphocytes lowered a lot). Tecfidera worked ok for me, but Plegridy obviously hasn't been as effective. Due to the hard few months I've really isolated myself from people (some I'm unsure even how to reach out to again now) and live alone alone some of the time when my four children are at their mum's. Positive news is, they've mentioned Ocrevus and Kesimpta, which are obviously higher efficacy treatments. Could I ask for any advice people have around these DMTs, please? If you've seen me ask on Facebook or Instagram, then feel free to ignore and not repeat yourself.

High jcv+ level, Tysabri and Gilena

Hi. I've been on Tysabri for over 7 years. My jcv+ level is 3.5, which I'm told is high. I've been told I may have to come off Ty to go on a tablet, Gilena, I think it's possibly called. Has anyone had to do this and how effective it is in comparison? Thank you

JCV Positive

Hi All, Went for my Tysabri infusion today and got the news I’m JCV positive. I know this doesn’t mean the end of Tysabri right now and the nurses tried to reassure me, but just feeling so disappointed about it, broke down in tears in the middle of the infusion unit 😔 I’ve been feeling so much more...

Tysabri and JCV

I got diagnosed with MS in October and started on Tysabri in December however, I tested positive for the JC Virus. Did any body else test positive at the start of their treatment and still continue with Tysabri?
