What is the ideal multiple sclerosis diet? Is there any such thing? We all know that a well-balanced diet helps to maintain overall good health, and this is particularly true for MSers. There are plenty of MSers who have experimented with going vegan, gluten free or dairy free, or have tried specialist diets like the paleo or wahls diet. Speak to others about their experiences of diet and nutrition and the impact this has had on their multiple sclerosis.

Overcoming MS Diet experiences?

I was diagnosed last November and my husband (our chef) has been amazing; embracing the OMS diet - even following it himself. However, after 6 months of without falling off, it’s been hard to keep to - so cheese and a very small piece of meat are things I allow myself twice a month. (Would love a cr...

Dietary changes - eg overcoming MS

Hi all, my partner has MS (diagnosed summer last year) and so far she is doing great on treatment. I want to be doing whatever I can to support and I am the house cook a lot of the time. I see a lot of things out there about dietary changes (some of them quite extreme) and I was wondering whether an...

Demystifying Diet

The most important thing to keep in mind about diet is that it is viewed as an ‘add on’ to scientific/medical treatment. It is also imperative to get medical advice from your health care team on any steps you wish to pursue. When you have a team they see all of your underlying conditions as well ...
