Annoyed

So, turns out that I have developed a new Plaque of Lesions in the Cervix area of the Brain / Spine but, I have been on the Ocrevus Infusions, thought any progression was supposed to be slowed down not sped up, annoyed isn't even the word.

Life after Lemtrada

I started Lemtrada June of 2018, completed May of 2019. It wasn’t an easy treatment. Ms for me began in 1995 (17 years old). Around 29 years of interferons…betaseron and then avonex. Then I stopped dmt’s and tried just diet…..bad idea.🤦🏼‍♂️. With my ms progressing and shouldering from RRMS to ...

A Good Day for Good News

Got some good news from my Dr today, the Rituxan infusions are proving to be very effective at fighting my lesions as there are no new ones. I won’t have to worry about doing any more MRI’s for a while, feels good for now. Still have problems with my left side but I’m gonna try to see a physical the...

Memory, Brain Lesions and Guilt

I was diagnosed on January 6, 2020. I have a heavy disease burden with almost all of my lesions in my brain. I started taking Tecfidera shortly after. Every MRI I have had except one showed new brain lesions. So now I'm on Ocrevus. My memory has progressively become worse. I forget words, names, an...

Driving

Has anybody handed their driving license back to DVLA and voluntarily stopped driving??? I was referred to an assessment centre by my MS nurse and they recommended that I stop driving a manual transmission car 6 months ago. I have had a couple of lessons in an automatic car and trying to hold onto...

“With your history”

It’s a new phrase I’m realising I’m going to have to get used to. Today I spilled the flask of boiling hot tea I was making down my front. No big deal, bit sore, followed the steps on the HSE site by taking a 20 minute cool shower over it and wrapping in clingfilm. Thought I’d best be careful and c...
