To my #EndMS family

To my American #EndMS #HelpFindACure family, yes I'm from Canada but unlike @Bernie sanders will have you believe that the healthcare system in Canada is really good. I barely eat anything literally one meal every 2-3 days a week. There are medications that I can't afford. My MS is almost at the sta...

Today I'm fed up😥😥😥😥

I'm not doing good today. I've been crying all night & day. I'm tired of suffering. Now what I'm about to ask is a VERY VERY SERIOUS QUESTION. Once an animal is sick & would need medication for the rest of their lives more often than not it's better to put said animal down because it's a matter of q...

Flee or Fight

Hi everyone! The MS society here in Canada has recently launched a new campaign and website (www.endms.ca) that a good friend of mine is a part of. I just wanted to share one of the ad's with everyone here because I think it's a pretty great one! While it is centred around Canada, I thought some o...

First Ocrevus description

In case it's of interest to anyone, here's my diary of a first Ocrevus infusion. The day before, I was advised to drink a lot of water. Being hydrated helps the nurses find a vein. Got there at 8:20 for an 8:30 appointment, and was ushered straight through to a comfy chair. My blood pressure, hear...

Thinking about giving up my business

I have been self employed for 13 years but I am currently down from working with dozens of clients to only two and one of those contracts ends on 1st April. I feel so sad about the thought of giving up, but I work alone and when I am unable to work then there is no one else there to do the work. I ...

Work issues

Hello all, just wondering if anyone has had anything like this. I've had pretty severe symptoms since my diagnosis which made doing my job as a QC Lab manager for a chemical manufacturer pretty hard. The company offered me a different full time permanent job, more office based, less time critical wo...

Opinions on Tysabri

Hello all, I’m recently diagnosed with MS, it’s a bit of a relief to get a diagnosis if I’m honest. It ties up a few strange loose ends and means I don’t have prostate cancer or a brain tumour! I have had several MRIs, second one was brain and spine with dye and it was after that that I got my f...

Am I losi...

Hi all. I'm new to the platform so firstly, it's nice to 'meet' you all. I was diagnosed in October 2016 with RRMS and I started Lemtrada in December of the same year. After recovering from the second round, I hit the gym hard, and I was at my lifetime peak of fitness before a major crash in marc...
