To my American #EndMS #HelpFindACure family, yes I'm from Canada but unlike @Bernie sanders will have you believe that the healthcare system in Canada is really good. I barely eat anything literally one meal every 2-3 days a week. There are medications that I can't afford. My MS is almost at the stage where I can't get out of bed. I have lived in my apartment since my daughter was 9yrs old, she's now 22yrs old & I was a single father raising her from the age of 3yrs old. I was able to work for a lot of her life before I was forced to stop working due to the progression of the #EndMS. I'm a very lucky/thankful person that I have a daughter like her. We live on the 3rd floor of a 3 story walk up & i can't get up or down the stairs so I'm stuck in the apartment. She does pay half of the rent & half of the bills & we are barely surviving. There isn't a snowballs chance in hell that even the 2 of us can move somewhere with an elevator. And we have both been trying. Anyways I just wanted to let you know how things really are in Canada. So if you see me having a hard time for a few days maybe even weeks I don't want anyone to think oh boohoo poor Canadian whining about stuff when he gets cheaper meds & serves. Remember that old saying "you get what you pay for" i hope that everyone has a great sleep tonight &take care.
