How would you take this news?

I've been struggling with my MS, I've been stuck in bed worrying about how I'm going to go to the hospital and have my ankle checked bc I lost the use of my ankle completely & if I'm forced to move the only person I have to help me with everything is my 22yr old daughter who lives with me & pays rent. I can't leave that all for her. Then she comes into my room when I woke up to see if I need anything & then sits down beside my bed & tells me that she's been feeling off for a long time now & I knew that she was but I thought that it's bc she's anemic. But she looks at me & says that she had just gotten off of a phone call appointment with her doctor who's my doctor aa well anyway because of how she is feeling it would be a smart idea for her to get an MRI just to rule #EndMS #HelpFindACure. I am going to feel horrible if she has this terrible disease. How would you feel.

Hi. That sounds really scary. I must admit that me having MS is bad enough, but my child getting diagnosed would just be truly terrible for me to manage. I guess it is a case of waiting and seeing what the results of the MRI are. 🤞it’s something mild, and something your daughter will be over soon. Prepare for the worst, and hope for the best. I guess that is all we can do. 🤞

@Clary thank you for taking a minute out of your day to write your message to my post. I am definitely preparing for the worst but hoping for the best. I was diagnosed when I was 8yrs old & my mother had it. My daughter & my mother were best friends right up until the #EndMS took her from us. My daughter was old enough to know exactly what was going on with grandma & I think that's why she was so protective of her. So she's no stranger to the suffering that comes with #MS. It's going to break my heart if she does. For now she's just living life like a 22yr old should.
