Covid booster

Hi everyone 👋 I've had the covid booster vaccine this morning (moderna) and oh my goodness I now feel like absolute rubbish. I remember struggling with my first ever covid vaccine (AstraZeneca), then being fine with my two Pfizer vaccines but this one has knocked me sideways...anyone else??

Hi everyone So the Uk has announced the spring covid booster for those over 75 or immunosuppressed. I was diagnosed in November and not yet started treatment. I can't seem to find out if I am eligible but thinking I am not. I thought I would see what happens if I tried to book an appointment, and ...

Testosterone Booster Capsules

Is it ok to take testosterone booster capsules if you have MS? I lack strength (and muscle mass) and was told by someone that I should consider the above supplement. Im currently on Gilenya and am unsure whether it's suitable. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Revitive circulation booster

With reduced mobility, my feet had become very puffy and a grisly grey colour. While I follow my physio's advice - spend maybe 30 mins a day with my feet above my heart level, wear shoes even when not going out, I just got a Christmas present that has really helped. http://www.lloydspharmacy.com/en/...

Too many injections?

Last Thursday, I was given a Covid booster and my flu jab. My Kesimpta was also due on Friday. Since Monday, I have been feeling incredibly lightheaded and have also had a weeping bellybutton oddly? I have a doctor’s appointment this afternoon but I’m doubtful that will do anything to help me. Has a...

Making Rational Decisions

This is a hard one for me to admit, but I have difficulty making rational decisions around my MS. By gosh, I think I finally did it. I was notified that I am eligible for my 4th Covid booster so I went and got it, doubled-down and got the flu shot at the same time. My rationale: I know the Covid boo...

Vaccination

Just a quick note. I had a COVID booster and flu vaccine yesterday. My MS is awful today, my legs are like lead and ache, my skin is crawling and I feel an MS hug is inbound. I will feel better tomorrow and after some sleep. I still believe this is the better option and would do it again. Take care ...

Hello dear people, Here I am again, asking you how your week was! So: how are you doing and how were the last couple of days for you? Did you do something nice for yourself? Had some rest? I finished knitting my scarf, worked, visited family (don’t do that often) and got the booster vaccine. Wou...

Short covid story

Hi all, I had my covid booster on the 9th of September and my Kesimpta injection on the 10th. I tested covid +ve on the 23rd. Now it's easy to think that having both so close together is why I ended up with covid only; the day before, my partner had tested covid +ve (17th) we made love. He wasn't f...

Vaccines and Ocrevus

Hi It’s been a while since I posted and I may get very different views to my question. But I have just had a phone call with my MS nurse for the next Ocrevus treatment and it seemed a bit strange. I have had all the recommended vaccines (3 primary and 2 boosters (autumn and spring)) and she was s...

COVID re-vaccination after Stem Cell Transplant: A Guide

Underwent a stem cell transplant for MS three months ago. Around the 100 day mark, depending on blood results, you’ll be instructed by your oncologist to get your COVID vaccinations again. It’s a fucking nightmare - so capturing the process I went through below to help anyone else trying to do the s...
