Random question about steroids

Hi, I was just wondering how you decide when to take steroids. I have RRMS and am on tecfidera, due to change to Kesimpta in August. For the most part my MS has been stable and more of a label than anything else. However last week I woke up with a lightly numb face, over the week I have regai...

Strange symptoms

I have a lesion on my c3/c4 cervical spinal cord and the top half of my spine keeps going numb and tingling on and off. It’s not when I look down though so I don’t think it’s Lhermittes. It just seems to happen at random times and is quite uncomfortable. I’m just wondering if anyone else experiences...

Im looking for advice? I will be 57 this month and I met with neurology nurse practitioner today. I have spinal stuff going on that could explain my numbness in my arms and the tingling but what led me to them is my frequent falling. I've fallen 3 times in 8 months. Once in the shower. Second time at a childcare center because I work with behavioral children and I fell broke my wrist and I thought I did something to my neck, bit through my lip. Then several weeks ago I just face planted in the garage and broke my nose. The mri did show lesions but I'm pretty old to be diagnosed. Im not sure I want to be diagnosed at this age? Should I even pursue it? Im so confused? Im not one to stick my head in the ground but I also don't want to sit around and get worse. I have other symptoms and I've fallen many times before here and there and just chalked it up to me being clumsy. I could use some advice?

Hello. So just got diagnosed with MS after a 2 week stay in the hospital at the end of April. And the last 2 weeks on both arms in my elbow area at pretty numb to the touch and my left arm hurts when I try and pick something up. Not sure if it's related or not. Have to set up a appointment with neurology after I get a referral from my PCP which I'm getting on Thursday afternoon!!!

Does anyone else get fingertip numbness in only one hand? Lately I have been experiencing fingertip numbness in only my right hand and according to my last set of MRIs a year ago I only have 17 brain lesions. Anyone else go through this?

One sided or both sided pain?

My doctor implies if I feel pins and needles, numbness, pain in both legs it's not MS as MS symptoms are one sided. Is this true ???

Are you scared too? 🙃

I was diagnosed last year because my left leg went numb but I had been having symptoms most of my teenage/adult life (diagnosed at 29) and I am scared to wake up without the ability to see or walk! Please tell me I am not the only one… Milwaukee, WI but originally from Venezuela 🇻🇪. My symptoms we...

Scared, and looking for guidance.

I have always felt, off. My entire life. A few weeks ago, I woke up to numbness on the left side of my body. Over the course of a week, and numerous hospitals turning me away, the numbness progressed from part of my head, to the entirety of my left side down to my foot and excruciating pain in the b...
