I’ve heard folk talk about this and am not 100% sure what it is.
I have a continuous tightness around my waist, its only relived by lying down. Is this the MS hug?
Currently I have a fierce pain under my right breast that goes around to the middle of my back. I thought I was having a heart attack. I find out it is called the "M.S. Hug". I asked for help from my M.S. nurse practioner & she gave me a prescription which helps a lot.

Lately I’ve been dealing with a new symptom, this tightness around my mid section that can be painful at times. I don’t want to believe that it is ms hug can it be anything else?
Just wondering how often you get an MRI of your spine done?
I still don’t have a diagnosis of MS but as the years go on, new symptoms seem to appear.
I had an MRI of my full spine back in 2021 but didn’t have any lesions there, only my brain. That was prior to my leg becoming as weak as it is now....
Last night was scary... I had just come in from the garden, stood up and felt of balanced and legs went to jelly, took a slow walk indoors... Got inside and was by dinning chairs went I felt the MS hug.... It kept getting tighter and tighter, pins and needles started down both arms, pain in my chest...
