MS Conscript

My first post, so let me introduce myself, in case it helps someone who’s closer to the beginning of this difficult journey. I’ve had RRMS for over 20 years and been on DMTs for around 15. I’m still walking and working, but get tired easily, and I still drive, just with a blue badge in the car. So,...

#RideCanada4MS - give Dom your support as he rides across Canada 🚵

Dom AKA ‘The MS Guide’ has taken on the challenge of a lifetime, cycling 8,000km across Canada to raise $1m for global brain health. He’s even donating a portion of the money to Shift.ms, to enable us to further our support services. Why is Dom doing this? Having lived for 33 years with MS, Dom e...

Shift.MS Discovery?

What led you all here to Shift.MS? A friend whose daughter had just been diagnosed with MS happened to mention how she had a buddy through Shift.MS. Curiousity got the better of me and I researched Shift.MS 🙂The rest, as they say, is history. Did your MS nurse recommend the site? or perhaps yo...

Just reaching out, just taking one more step forward. But the second I started introdu...

My journey, how many share these experiences?

I am sharing my personal MS journey this MS Awareness Week, because I want other people suffering with this disease to know that they’re not alone in their experiences. There is plenty of hope, laughter and joy to be found alongside MS, and I hope that through sharing my story, I can help others fin...

New to shift.ms

Hi everyone! I’ve had MS for a long time (relapses started in 2011 and was officially diagnosed in May 2012) but I’ve literally only just joined here! I’m glad to be able to make connections with others who ‘get it!’ Enjoy your evening and take care of yourselves. Jen xxx

Work and managing my MS.

I started a new job about three weeks ago. I was originally told that I'd be doing the kitchen assistant role and the cooking shifts in the evening. I got placed on a early day shift which was about 10 hours long and I mentioned that it's not suitable for me due to being on my legs for long periods....

Have your voice heard.....

Hi everyone 👋 I’m Eilis, a postgraduate psychology student from Ireland and a fellow MSer. I’m currently running a study exploring how coaching might support people with MS at work — especially in areas like resilience, confidence, and navigating disclosure. If you’re 18+, living with MS, and curre...
