The natural route

Hey there... New to this... I’m wanting to hear feed back from folks who have opted out of DMT... I was diagnosed 7 months after my son was born in 2010. I am currently having my 3rd relapse, though this one has required a 3 day dose of solumedrol. I completely changed my lifestyle after diagnosis, no dairy, no gluten, no sugar, a lot of yoga and tons of supplements.... I have been really stressed out lately and have not been taking as good of care of myself for the last 6 mo or so... perhaps not surprising that I am having an exacerbation. I’d like to hear what has helped you in your regimen of natural healing and also how quickly has IV steroids helped your exacerbation!? My flare began 6/5/20 and I started the roids on 6/8/20... no improvement yet... completely numb from chest to calves, both sides! I was finally supposed to go back to work and now I’m decommissioned... probably not helping with my stress at all! Advice? Please don’t tell me to get on DMT, every neuro I have spoken to has given me the ol “you’ll be in a wheelchair by 40 if you don’t start now” talk... I am not giving any energy to that fear, just looking for other folks who battle this disease their own way... Thank you!

Hi i don't Take any Dmt i suffered from terrible side affects when I first was diagnosed after taking Dmt so decided to stop brought the book by Judy Graham Ms naturally which really helped me follow the best bet diet no gluten, dairy and low fat,i was diagnosed 8 years ago i have got a bit worse have more symptoms than before i have ppms, like you spend a fortune on supplements but when i have stopped taking the supplements or come of the diet i feel more worse, i live in france the health care is brilliant but my doctors are always trying to get me to take drugs, the "drug" i take is cannabis for the pain at night and to help me sleep and it really helps with spasms also, ive notice for me if i eat small amounts of food through the day i don't get fatigue so much, the last time i went to my old neurologist who diagnosed me he was really mad i had stopped taking DMT and hadn't seen him for 7 years but when he examined me was surprised I hadn't got much worse, i also have loads of animals to look after so that keeps me busy i am so much better and happier when I'm in the fresh air, it is always nice to hear from others who are following the natural way with ms, i hope you soon get over your relapse.
