Ms fatigue -causes

Hi folks, I had a meeting with my ms nurse recently for a check up. I suffer with fatigue regularly, but she told me ms fatigue is only when new lesions are happening- is that what everyone else understands too? I’m awaiting mri results and have had a blood test which has showed vit d levels at 25 (...

My description of MS fatigue.

Everybody has a bucket of energy that begins the day full. The energy trickles out throughout the day through a small hole in the bottom of the bucket. Every so often the bottom falls out of my bucket!

When my career and my MS fatigue met

NEW MS BLOG | “When my career and my MS fatigue met” by @SHF1 I was diagnosed with MS in 2018, and because of a compromised left hand, I was unable to easily use my phone or any devices. Thankfully, my husband likes to do research and was very helpful in reading through articles and information a...

MS fatigue

Hi friends. How do you cope with MS fatigue? I have battled this for 20 years. It seems to be getting worse and worse. I need to pull myself out of it somehow. Feeling like all I do is lay in bed and sleep. That’s no way of life. I know I can get some sense of strength back. I would love to hear al...

MS fatigue!

I'm experiencing a very strong fatigue, if I work for half a day I have to rest after and can't do much. I'm on Ocrevus and I'm willing to try some Lion's mane extract to see if it helps with my fatigue. I wonder if anyone has some experiences to share, also I'm a bit scared of drug interaction but ...

We talk about sleep and MS- Fatigue, work, medication.

New episode of Multiple Shenanigans- A video podcast about the funny side of life with MS. Hello! We choose our topics for Multiple Shenanigans randomly (choosing a page in a book) but when we got 'sleep', we obviously had quite a lot to say about sleep, MS and life. So much so, we were quite sle...

Fatigue research So I got to thinking. Given that MS fatigue is the most complained about symptom, why are more bespoke treatments for MS fatigue not a huge priority? Most MS fatigue treatments are usually originally made for other diseases, ie: Modafinil was originally used to help narcoleps...

Cocoa flavonoids and MS fatigue

there has been quite a bit of press around this. Apologies for bursting anyone's bubble, but this doesn't mean that it is helpful to gobble a jumbo-sized Dairy Milk every day. As nice as that may be! I have been going back and forth with the second author - Dr Jonny Collett - as we know one anothe...

MS Fatigue!

So here is my short video where I try to describe fatigue. Hopefully I have explained well enough so that people that don’t have MS get a sense of what walking in our shoes is like. https://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtu.be&v=PV-JApY0Qto

MS Fatigue question

I've listened to you all talk about this, and I've read about it as well. From what I can gather, MS fatigue is way worse than "I'm tired." It's "I need to lie down right now and sleep because I physically cannot do anything else." Is that right? Is it that all-encompassing exhaustion where you ...

MS fatigue - What's it like for you?

What does MS fatigue feel like for you? I’m still new to the MS dance and still getting used to the dance steps, so I’m still trying to figure out what is or isn’t related to MS. For the past few days I’ve been feeling tired and seem to wake up tired, even after having (seemingly) slept all night. T...
