Cold/Heat intolerance

I’ve been off the app for a while but I love a good hot vs cold deep dive. I HATE the cold with my entire being…autumn/winter is the absolute worst for me because it makes me feel like a literal slug, every movement is a chore and I nap like a hibernating bear but in the summer months there is a m...

Hi, i feel like the new kid on the block, having only received my MS diagnosis a couple of months back and am waiting for my first infusion. I’m in NZ and we’re heading into winter so I’m grateful for the cooler weather, and how it reduces the symptoms. Speaking of which i am finding that having...

How did you find out?

Hi everyone! I have RRMS and I found out that I had MS after going completely numb on my left side. Even then the Doctor was still uncertain and chose to call it Tranverse Myelitis. 5 years later, same symptoms. Only this time, I was sensitive to hot and cold. I had an MRI, Spinal tap, and evoked po...

After taking my almost 2 years old from his crib, my shoulder and back got crazy stabbing pain, I feel like hot pain, and I could not move at all. Not even breathing. I am not sure is this happen because I carry him in a wrong way to it is MS. I got diagnosed in 2013 after I had double vision. Since then I didn’t took any medication. I had another attack on 2018 but I had no symptoms. I am so afraid of this new MS attack. I have little toddlers I have to take care of them :(. How is MS pain?

Temperature Regulation

Does anyone else have a hard time actually being able to warm up? I also get hot flushes and can’t cool myself down. Any advice for staying at a neutral temperature would be great. I’m 29 and live in the North of England where it’s always grey, cold & raining 🙈

Cannabis

Maybe I'm not up to date on this app but I was scrolling through some posts about pain and I was surprised that cannabis is rarely mentioned for pain management, sleep and general wellbeing. Personally it's made a massive difference in my own battle over the years for the better and I'm just surpris...
