Hot Showers

Hi, i feel like the new kid on the block, having only received my MS diagnosis a couple of months back and am waiting for my first infusion. I’m in NZ and we’re heading into winter so I’m grateful for the cooler weather, and how it reduces the symptoms. Speaking of which i am finding that having a shower will cause my whole body to tense up with cramp. Does this happen to anyone else? And if so what can you recommend? Please don’t tell me to just have a cold shower, that’s the sort of unsympathetic thing my family tell me 😐
@brodriguez

Luke warm showers help me.

This used to happen to me when I was still dealing with the flare early on. I just used to have less hot showers.. so sort of lukewarm..and for shorter periods. When I got out, I'd turn the fan on so I had cool air in my face. Hope that helps 😊 Side note.. I still get a kind of... stretchy.. cramping feeling sometimes in my leg. My partner randomly put damp tea towels in the freezer one day for about 10 mins.. and then would take them out and gently rub them on my legs. It's heaven and quietened my symptoms. Might be worth s try? Good luck 😊
