Ocrevus and Menstrual Cycle Absence

Ladies within child bearing ages on Ocrevus - **{ if you are not a woman, or a woman within child bearing age please keep scrolling.}** When you began Ocrevus did it disrupt your cycle? I took my first dose (full dose) of Ocrevus 1/31/2025. The first day of my last period was February 5th, no flow in sight any time soon. I am not pregnant. I’ve made sure to rule that out before looking into what other possibilities could be happening. I have been having perimenopausal symptoms (hot flashes/night sweats, etc.) since my diagnosis in 2022, as of November my hormones were normal, with no sign of perimenopause in sight. I have been off birth control since July 2024. Before taking birth control 12+ years ago I did have abnormal cycles where my period would arrive a few weeks or day late but never a month or more. When I google Ocrevus and menstrual cycle changes it says there is no strong evidence supporting any connection, but Ocrevus can experience hormonal fluctuations. Having no period seems a bit excessive for “hormonal fluctuations” I’m sure stress plays in a role of my absent cycle too, I have just never gone this long without Aunt Flo and looking for others to share their similar experiences. Thanks in advance!

Regarding peri-menopause and menopause, I don’t think there have been many studies on women, to have the needed evidence, nevermind strong evidence.

@brainfoguk1 there’s not a whole lot. Not a whole lot of info on hormonal concerns and MS period.
