Weird one

Last night was scary... I had just come in from the garden, stood up and felt of balanced and legs went to jelly, took a slow walk indoors... Got inside and was by dinning chairs went I felt the MS hug.... It kept getting tighter and tighter, pins and needles started down both arms, pain in my chest was becoming intolerable, I couldn't catch my breath and kept reminding myself it was a bad episode of the MS hug and I was having a panic attack as a result... That hug kept getting tighter and tighter. I started to feel light headed and my arms were now on fire with sharp pain ... Apparently I fainted and was unresponsive for just under a minute.... When I came too my hands were very very red and hot to the touch I'm obviously going to call GP and MS team this morning, just wondering if anyone else had experienced an MS hug so severe they passed out?
@RC83

The hug isn't a symptom I experience but the vast majority of your symptoms above are very typical of a bad panic attack which and not a direct result of the MS. Those symptoms that were MS will have been aggravated both physically and psychologically by the panic. If it happens again then build on the confidence that it's happened before and you have got over it to tell the tail.
