Have you found your MS energy?

Have you changed your outlook on life or your priorities in some way since being diagnosed with MS? We call this 'MS energy': it's the desire to do something - anything - positive following your diagnosis. It can happen right away or months or years after. We've launched a project to capture and s...

Surfing the MS Energy Wave

If your MS is like mine, surviving a day is much like surfing. The ocean is an energy field and the waves come in, some higher and most with deep troughs. When I'm in between energy waves, down in the trough, I just dog-paddle along the best I can. When the wave crests, I feel like I'm surfing on a ...

Happy International Men's Day

From myself and the rest of the Shift.ms team, we wanted to thank all of the men who continue to contribute to our MSer community. Statistically, there aren't as many of us, so thank you for speaking up and leading the way for others like me. Below is a list of posts and blogs by some of our male me...

MS Stories - Who wants to tell theirs?

Stories are a wonderful way to teach people anything. I believe them to be the best tool of raising awareness for Multiple Sclerosis and teaching ...

So with MS your energy levels are completely depleted? I just attempted to cut my grass and it's as if Thanos came and stole all of my power rings. WTF? OMG. Is this what I'm looking forward to? Completely lacking any power in my limbs.🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️😵‍💫🤕

Trouble sleeping/late night energy?

Since my late teens I am seldom tired at night time and have always found it difficult to go to bed. I never go to bed before midnight, 1am and I end up lying in bed for ages before I can doze off. This can be a nightmare in the mornings as I am always tired which can worsen my mobility, so therefor...
