I see a lot of comments about exercise. When I was first diagnosed I could not walk more than 5 feet. I was in great shape prior to my 7 week hospital stay. As time went on I got stronger by doing cardio with weights (no more than 10 pounds). I have access to a treadmill and now do a walk/run on the treadmill and it's actually my "pain medication of choice!" I do skip a day every 3 or 4 weeks to let my body recover and replenish. I also really watch my diet avoiding fats and salt which isn't good for you anyway. Id happily help any of my MS Sisters & Brothers with fitness. It gets into your mind and keeps the stress down. I work out first thing in the morning after I eat a high source of protein such as an egg or cottage cheese with fruit. After my workout I eat a serving of oatmeal with chia seeds and fruit. The chia seeds have a high source of protein and fiber which keeps you regular. Gimme a shout out!

Pretty crappy when your neurologist tells you “that’s too bad” when you’ve have run out of options for assistance to get you MS medication. Way to go Rocky Mountain MS Center. Thanks for the help!

Hi everyone, I have so many questions. My name is Karen. I had a TIA on September 2nd after that things started happening fast. I'm 62 yrs old and now my Dr says I have MS due to symptoms and family history. My systoms are pain from my ankles to my lower back, my legs feel like cold water is running down them and pain. My left hand shakes and my legs tremble when I try to stand up and walk. My stomach gets sharp pains, and my vision is blurry with double vision. My next step is to a neurologist but I don't know what they do there. I had the MRI and it said finding showed age or MS. I'm so confused with everything that's going on with my body. Can you all help me? Are my symptoms consistent with MS?

Hey everyone 👋 I’m Dylan, a 38-year-old guy living with MS out here in Saskatchewan. I run a legal weed dispensary (yes, I’m that guy), and I use dark humor, sarcasm, and a whole lot of cannabis to get through the weirdness that is life with MS.I figured it was time to find a space with people who get it the fatigue, the brain fog, the “oh cool, my leg’s just doing its own thing now” moments. I’m just here to connect, share some laughs (the darker the better), and not feel like I’m the only one in the snow belt dealing with this.If you're in or around Saskatchewanor even if you're not say hi. I don’t bite. Unless it's a bad MS day and my jaw spasms. (Kidding. Mostly.)Looking forward to getting to know some fellow weirdos on this ride
