Hi just been diagnosed and not sure what to think/do. Neurologist has recommended three different drug therapies. Tecfidera Plegridy Copaxone. His preference is for Tecfidera, but as you know nothing comes for free and the side effects with that seem worse than the other two, and neither of them ...

I am newly diagnosed after years of symptoms and being told you’re just fat lose weight and you’ll feel better. I’m still trying to adapt to all of this. I’ve learned that I can’t do everything I used too. It’s hard changing my life to adapt to this. What changes has everyone made to adapt to MS?

I’m considering doing some MS content for YouTube/intagram to try and help people with MS both newly diagnosed and us MS veterans. I’m thinking of covering all kinds of topics but just wondering if anybody could give me any pointers on what to cover or what you would like covered. I’m 48, husband and father of 3. I’ve progressed through rrms on to spms and been through the whole losing mobility process and ultimately I use a wheelchair pretty much full time. I have other symptoms, I’ve tried various diets, supplements, taopatch, orthotics and most other things that I think may help or improve my quality of life. Any suggestions would be welcomed. Hello everyone 😊. A little about myself. I was diagnosed with MS (after experiencing a few different symptoms (🤔maybe in a period of 3 months or so 🤷🏼‍♀️). This happened November 2008 at the age of 30. After being discharged from the hospital, I went to see a neurologist who started me on daily injections. I don’t recall too much, however I remember the Dr telling me newly diagnosed patients will have a relapse in about 2 years. I was on injections (which injections 🤷🏼‍♀️) less than a year (due to insurance). About 2-3 years later, I again have insurance. I recall hearing anything you take or do to yourself can trigger your “MS”. So because of that, I refused to be back on meds/injections. My way of thinking (maybe not the healthiest) was “It’s been close to 4 years and I haven’t had a relapse or suffered from it. Fast forward ➡️, almost 16 years later I have never experienced anything to do with MS since the time I was diagnosed. I’ve doubted (and still do) of my diagnostic was correct. A few years ago I had some tests done on me and according to Dr- I still show cloudy patches bla bla bla. I’m very thankful and blessed with myself but I’ve also wished and prayed MS didn’t exist. I wish everyone the best, NEVER lose hope or faith and always be thankful you don’t have it worse 🥰.
