I live in the UK and summer is getting increasingly hotter and longer. I've made efforts to reduce heat at home but I'm seriously considering a big slash of💲💰🤑 on a decent air conditioning unit. Any personal recommendations beyond what I can find on Google/Amazon reviews?? Thank you in advanc...

“Sativex” in the UK. Has it’s been a struggle to get prescribed this by your neurologist? And if you’ve been able to get it how do you find it? I asked for six years for this to help with my spasms and then once on it I would call it a game changer in respect to my spasms.

Weird question, are there any former gymnasts on here in the UK looking for a new sport and possible Paralympic opportunity

Hi all, Totally random I know, but any UK peeps with MS who used to do gymnastics or something similar? I’m part of the team putting together a full Paralympic GB cheerleading squad and we’re short on flyers, so thought I would see if anyone here would be interested. If so please let me know and ...

Getting an appointment - UK

My annual MRIs got out of sync with my annual consultant appointments. So this year I saw my consultant in April and had my MRI in June. Usually this isn't a problem but this year my MRI showed new lesions. I have a letter from my consultant asking for my next appointment to be brought forward, but ...

I’ve recently been diagnosed with PPMS, and I’m trying to decide whether it’s worth pursuing Ocrevus treatment. In the UK, it seems that Ocrevus is generally offered only if your PPMS is considered active. In my case, they haven’t been able to confirm whether my MS is active or not. That’s left me in a bit of a grey area.I’m really concerned about waiting too long—if there is activity, I may miss the window where Ocrevus could help slow progression.Has anyone else here been in a similar situation? Did you pursue Ocrevus without confirmed activity? Any thoughts or experiences would really help. Thanks in advance.

Aircon in the uk?

Hi, anyone in the uk got aircon? Built in or portable I’d like to know how much these are and which portable ones are decent as I know they cost less. I physically can’t stand this heat any longer I’ve never been so uncomfortable. Sleeping outside has become a genuine consideration and I’m at wits e...
