Aircon in the uk?
Hi, anyone in the uk got aircon? Built in or portable I’d like to know how much these are and which portable ones are decent as I know they cost less. I physically can’t stand this heat any longer I’ve never been so uncomfortable. Sleeping outside has become a genuine consideration and I’m at wits end . I always feel too hot anyway as my body doesn’t regulate too well. Always loved the cold but this is another level
Good morning. I am typing this at 0518 as I got zero sleep, due to the heatwave, so gave up and got up. I've only got it in the car I'm afraid. Getting out of the car at the gym last night was like getting if a plane in Singapore. I did buy a unit for the house a few years ago. I took it back because it was too noisy. It was about £300. It worked well. Just be aware that you need to vent the hot air outlet to outside, up a chimney for example.
