What is the ideal multiple sclerosis diet? Is there any such thing? We all know that a well-balanced diet helps to maintain overall good health, and this is particularly true for MSers. There are plenty of MSers who have experimented with going vegan, gluten free or dairy free, or have tried specialist diets like the paleo or wahls diet. Speak to others about their experiences of diet and nutrition and the impact this has had on their multiple sclerosis.

Hey everyone! I just wanted to share a little milestone and reach out for some advice. Back in November of last year, I took the leap and quit smoking to focus on my health. It’s been a really positive change overall, but I’ve noticed that I’ve put on about 20 to 25 extra pounds since then. (We all...

I know diet is a sensitive topic, but I’d love to know which plans or protocols you use as a guide and if you think they help mentally and/or physically.

When you ask a simple question about MS and get an epic “I"

“Oh wow, that sounds rough! I don’t have MS myself, but I’ve had my fair share of weird sensations and health freak-outs, so I totally get where you’re coming from. It all started for me about two years ago, after a particularly stressful period at work — I was managing a huge project and pulling wa...

Why I’m Coming Off Ocrevus: My MS Story

Living with multiple sclerosis (MS) means constantly adapting — to symptoms, to uncertainty, and to treatments that don’t always work the way you hope they will. After being on Ocrevus (ocrelizumab) for just over one year, I’ve decided to stop the treatment. It wasn’t an easy decision, but it feels ...

I’ve done a couple triathlons in previous years, so I thought “this could be easy”. Wrong!! The worst part was the bike. Leg fatigue. However - I finished and took 6th place among a...
