A lil weight

Hey everyone! I just wanted to share a little milestone and reach out for some advice. Back in November of last year, I took the leap and quit smoking to focus on my health. It’s been a really positive change overall, but I’ve noticed that I’ve put on about 20 to 25 extra pounds since then. (We all know this does not help with any mobility issues we struggle with) So I’m curious: has anyone else gone through this and found a good way to shed that little bit of extra weight after quitting smoking? I’d love to hear what worked for you—whether it’s a particular routine, a change in diet, or anything else that helped you knock those pounds back off, without wrecking your body. Thanks so much in advance for any tips! TTYS

I quit nicotine when first diagnosed a year ago after smoking from teenager till like 33 then managed to switch to vaping then quit that at 36 when diagnosed with ms. I managed not to gain weight as just limited how much I was eating and with my ms trying to cook was difficult so was only eating basic little microwave meals. Some intermittent fasting and alotta the lords lettuce to keep my hand occupied.

In the uk, the craze amongst women are the weight loss jabs. Not sure what they called but fairly recent has been approved by medical institutions in the uk. I’m sure they’re available stateside. Good luck if you go there
