MS who?

Completed a biathlon yesterday (2 miles kayak, 12 miles bike). There were 83 participants (men and women of all ages). I’ve done a couple triathlons in previous years, so I thought “this could be easy”. Wrong!! The worst part was the bike. Leg fatigue. However - I finished and took 6th place among all men under age 59. I just want everyone who reads this to know that MS doesn’t own us, we own MS! (Isn’t that what Ocrevus says? Or something like it? 🤣) There is hope. The right treatment, right lifestyle choices (diet, exercise, etc), the right mental mindset, etc. WILL defeat MS. You are all inspiration!

Well done, Jeremy. A bit slower but I’ve just done 100 miles of the hardest stretches trekking the South West Coast Path in Cornwall, UK. Bit ropey dragging a numb leg up endless steps and finding myself in 50mph winds with restricted balance! But 7 days later we finished in Newquay yesterday. I’m conscious though of just how much I’ve declined in a year so do it while you can and remember everyone is different. It’s inspiring but not possible for everyone. In truth at times it was just plain dangerous for me! But the principle of keeping on trying and not giving in is a good one and everyone will have a parallel there. Great stuff, champ!
