MS & Bipolar.. effects on a relationship

I’ve had MS since 2016 but was recently diagnosed with bipolar due to increasing mania attacks and over spending. I’ve developed a lot of narcissistic tendencies of worrying more about myself than the emotional state of others. But it’s taking a toll on my relationship. Has anybody else had simil...

Have you ever sacked your MS team, and can you?

Hello, This is my first time here, although I was diagnosed with MS in 2016. I have rarely seen my neurologist - just twice in 7 years - and I have lost faith in their ability to help. I feel that my relationship is so poor with the MS team that I am thinking about leaving their care, such as it i...

Can I ask a venting/fear question? I asked my boyfriend to move out. It is not a healthy relationship and I am too old to deal with immature bs. I am terrified of being alone. Not literally, I love having a person. I love the co tact I love the laughter and knowing that there is someone there if you fall lol. Now here I am a single broke 55 year old. Who would want to start a relationship with that, oh yeah and I have MS. Sigh

Relationships

Hi, I'm new here. Just pondering the with some thoughts. Is it even possible to be get in a relationship after you get diagnosed. I feel like really won't be able to find anyone because I'd be coming with all this baggage from my health and I would hate to leave that with someone else.

Has anyone else been feeling a significant loss of confidence, constantly questioning their relationship, their purpose in life, and what the future might hold?

Recently diagnosed and my life just took a drastic turn

it’s been rough since the diagnosis. My relationship ended because of it, even if it wasn’t the only reason. A lot of little things stacked up, but when things got tough, she left. Just moved out over the weekend let her keep the apartment. I’ve been trying to reach out to the MS community, see if I...

We've been together for 11 years had ups and downs like you do in a relationship but I've never really questioned our relationship til now. ...
