Partner troubles.

Do you ever wonder if your partner is gonna stay with you through this? Like some days he is supportive and other days no, and throws my illness in my face. We've been together for 11 years had ups and downs like you do in a relationship but I've never really questioned our relationship til now. I'm so drained and I'm only 8 months into my diagnosis of Rapidly Evolving Relapse Remitting ms. I'm just scared of my future like not even the disease just like if I'm gonna be alone through it all. Just curious if anyone else feels the same.

Invisible, you are NOT Invisible to us, or your partner and friends. I have been with my girlfriend for over 12 years, and supported her and her now late teens children throughout. We even bought a house together when she moved from Woking to live with me in Kent. Just like with MS, you’ll have good days and bad. That unfortunately is life. You are still young and have many future tales to experience, and tell. Don’t feel down, when you’re just turning another corner, harsh as it feels. Your partner is just coming to terms with the change and is lashing out in frustration, but deep down still loves, the you that you have always been.

@DMcIvor74 Thankyou for your comment, I appreciate the reassurance. And yeah I'm trying to stay positive I'm usually a happy go lucky person. Just lately he getting me frustrated. But like you said I'm sure just a phase and will just ride this one out. X Good luck on your journey too.
