During a relapse has anyone ever experienced feeling like your leg weighs about 50 stone and your muscles are permantely tightened?

Yesterday I lost sensation in 4th and 5th fingers in both hands. It still hasn't returned - is it likely to be signs of a relapse or not? I thought numbness/sensation loss was usually one sided with MS?
