When I was diagnosed, I had no lesions on MRI. I was finally diagnosed after having a lumbar puncture done. It can be frustrating knowing too much and not enough at the same time. Always remember to be your own best advocate and if at all possible, continue to push for a diagnosis. It took me over 3 years to be diagnosed It sounds bizarre, but when I actually received the MS diagnosis, I was actually relieved and not frightened. Good luck, Grace!
I'm so sorry your going through this.i would ask for a spinal tap.i had one and I hugged rhe doc for not hurting me when I was done. It's not as painful as some people say and I got right up minutes later .I was told in order to get a true diagnoses this had to be done unless things have changed .there findingvout that it can be hereditary and you are not too youbg.my neuro told me babies as young as 2 are being diagnosed .good luck to you, you've got this
