Cold turkey from Tecfidera

Well this morning may be last blue Tecfidera pill and thanks to that for keeping me safe for 6 years! But bloods getting too low I’m told to stop again and fingers crossed, bloods rise and start Kesimpta next month hopefully! Can’t say I’m feeling great dropping the pills for a month after last time started a mild sensory relapse, but really hope they improve and I can start that treatment

Hello @gibfish I made the switch from Tecfidera to Kesimpta a few months back as my neuro suggested I change as the Tecfidera was no longer working for me. I had a four week break from Tec before starting the Kesimpta but was lucky enough not to have any sort of relapse. For me it was trying to forget that I needed to pop a pill twice a day which was the hardest. I kept waking up in the morning and reaching for the tablet box whilst having breakfast. After being on the new treatment now for a few month's, I am surprised by how much better I am feeling after stopping the Tecfidera. I never realised how being on the Tec was having such an impact on my life. Good luck with the Kesimpta, get past injection one and it's plain sailing from then on.
