MS.

Hi All. Hope your well. I am new to this and just wanted to share my journey. After almost a year, I’ve finally been diagnosed in March with MS. My main symptoms were pins and needles in both legs/feet and numbness in my upper torso region. I am not currently on any treatments as I’m still awaiting to hear from the hospital but have been trying to get to understand my MS. Triggers for me have been stress, heat/humidity, viral infections (cold/flu). I gym 3x a week & have also changed my eating/sleeping habits. I try to keep as fit and as healthy but haven’t really heard much from my doctors/specialists so I’ve pretty much been trying to get to know MS on my own. Ive attempted to do some research and have seen eating more organic/greens helps reduce inflammation as well as regular intake of vitamins especially Vitamin D & K2. I also regularly take magnesium and iron which has helped me alot. I’ve also heard some people advise lions mane has been very effective. If anyone has any advice or questions I’m open to helping as much as I can x

Hi, I had facial paralysis as one of the first symptoms. Also my tongue went numb and when I talked it was like speaking with a ‘gob stopper’ in my mouth! The left side of my body was affected, arm face etc. After about 9 months my right arm and hand. This was back in 1994 and the only treatment then available to me was intravenous steroids. After all this time I’m still RRMS. Hope this helps x Sally x

Welcome to Shift.MS @asultana. sounds like you are on a very good track to keep yourself healthy. Definitely do some research on the treatments that you may receive for your MS. I’m on an infusion treatment for my condition, I take Rituxan. Hope you like it on here.
