Relapses

I have been going through a terrible time last couple of weeks with my mobility and have been really struggling with everything so I told my ms nurse and they sent me straight for an mri got my mri results this morning and because there has been no change from the last one they said it isn’t a relapse but I feel like I was when I was first diagnosed as the mri hasn’t changed from the last mri how can they say it’s not a relapse I’m just confused about it all
@NorasMom

I hate the stress placed on MRI's. They should be paying more attention to how you're feeling. It's been my experience that you CAN have a relapse without any new lesions, but the McDonald criteria has everyone bogged down in red tape.

@Gem3

This is so frustrating and happened to me a couple of weeks ago to. I asked ok what’s going on then I still have the symptoms even thought the MRI has no changes and her reply was do you have an infection somewhere? Which I don’t/aren’t aware of. I feel your pain! XX
