Does the weather immediately affect you?

I was diagnosed in June with RRMS after starting symptoms in Sept 2022. I'm trying to come to terms with my new normal. I'm struggling to return to work after being off since April. Today I went on site and trying to be mindful to not push it I used a mobility scooter for an outdoors meeting (the site is 65acres). However the weather today was ridiculous, at moments the sun was so strong my forehead felt like it was burning, then the rain would come in, then the wind was so cold I had to have my hood up to keep it off my neck. By the end of the meeting there was hail. I was absolutely shattered by the end of today, I couldn't cook dinner, I'm under too blankets, paracetamol won't shake the headache. I honestly thought a mobility scooter would allow me to join the meeting and still have some brain power So my question is do changes in temperature affect your symptoms? Do you find dealing with external factors exhausting? Thank you for this forum existing! I'm in the UK for reference on weather!

That's a big site! 5 months off work would take smyone time 2 get back to a work routine. Receiving an ms dx on top of that is life changing. Remember to be kind to yourself. You did amazing! I hear u with the challenge of an assortment of weather on same day. I hope you had kindness from others In cooking your dinner..Changes in weather definitely ramps up my symptoms. This time of year & until regular sun returns next during means I usually cant stay awake longer than 9-10pm! Yes it's exhausting! I am from Dorset, UK 🙂

@sparkle38 thank you, that's the biggest thing for me, to pace myself and be kinder to myself! I'm trying to just do a half day on site once a week but it's proving difficult. Thank you for saying about the changes in the weather, my pins and needles hate the rain!
