Waiting for MRI already 110% positive

This is my first post, I have symptoms mostly balance, elecric shock feeling down my neck, really bad spacial awareness. My mum had dormat MS for 35 years with no symptoms until she developed dementia, she's now in wheelchair in a carehome. That's another bad/sad story. I am so worried 24/7. I have leg weakness, physio said, does that mean my MS likely to be worse. V scared on my own, another bad life style choice, sometimes the grass definitely isn't greener especially now. Lost and scared. Trying to keep brave face on for my children (aged 13 and 15) best ever. Juat wanted to talk to someone who has experienced the whole process? Does the MRI result be telephoned. A friend tells me you will be fine etc etc. I turn 50 next Saturday and i know my body, and as i said 110% sure and I am not BS. Anyway would love to hear from someone just for a chat. Thanks Pamela

@pammi Hi and welcome to the club. You'll find loads of helpful advice and information here. My diagnosis came via a letter on Christmas Eve a few years ago now. Hey ho like you I was kinda expecting it so not too much of a shock. But what got me really annoyed was it took 3 month's to see a neurologist on my birthday! Lucky me eh? Keep a sense of humour and don't stress it really does make things 100x worse. I'm sure you'll get a few more greetings soon. In the mean time have a read of this link it might explain your neck problem. https://mstrust.org.uk/a-z/lhermittes-sign Feel free to ask anything you like we're all here to try and help out if we can. Keep smiling 😃

Hi 👋 I got phoned to arrange an appointment with the neurologist and a day later got a letter saying there were lesions found on my MRI 14 days previous. They wouldn’t say on the phone what it was but that was All pre COVID. This is a great place to get experienced not big worded medical answers as we are all here as we live with MS. Stay away from Dr. Google, www.shift.ms www.mstrust.org.uk www.mssociety.org.uk are the places to go if the results come back positive for MS. Remember you are not alone
