Just diagnosed and unsure of things at the moment šŸ„ŗ

Hi! I have just been diagnosed with MS after having a big ā€˜flare upā€™ - For months I lost all feeling down the left side of my face, then I lost my balance and was very nauseous for a couple of weeks! Saw a neurologist, had an MRI scan and on the 3rd January this year he confirmed it is MS. I donā€™t have appointments until March to see an MS nurse and also to go to the MS clinic so until then Iā€™m just waitingā€¦ Iā€™m not sure which type I have and obviously am not on any treatment yet. So I feel a little in limbo at the moment as am not sure of things yetā€¦

Hi NickiB, hope you're feeling ok, I didn't know what to feel when I was first diagnosed in April last year. But there will be treatment, and speaking to people here will help dispel some of the things you are unsure about. Have your symptoms subsided now?
