About Me

I'm in my late thirties and mum to my son. I was diagnosed earlier this year after a lot of uncertainty. Before my diagnosis I enjoyed travelling, going out with my friends, spinning, weight lifting and had quite an active life running round after my son ( I think he has duracell batteries, he never seems to stop). I have started Kessimpta which has helped, I'm still struggling with tiredness and the effect MS has on my family. I am mainly positive and still trying my best to live life to the full , but occasionally have some down moments
@Clary

You sound super busy. Well done you. In the UK there isn’t a drug available for fatigue. I think in other countries modafinil is used ( not 100% sure). Fatigue is horrible. I sleep all night and a couple of hours a day. My children have grown up a bit. They are 12 and 17yrs. Therefore, I can rest whilst they are at school. Between pick ups. Can you have help from a friend or family member? Can you rest during a nursery/school time? I have let some of my housework go. I no longer work, which helps me manage. Are you doing everything? Hope you can find a way to manage. All the best.
