Covid and relapse risk increase

Hello all, I’m on my second bout of Covid but the first one whilst diagnosed with RRMS. I got Paxlovid prescribed on Day 1 and have been in bed for 3 days as I find the best thing for me to do is as little as possible when I don’t feel well. The Covid nurse (North Lancashire/South Cumbria) told me that there is evidence emerging that where covid has been, relapses are occurring. She said it suggests that MSers are at higher risk of relapse on days 9-21 of having Covid, and I wondered if anyone here can relate to this? Thank you!

@Flennyz Yes. I had Covid a couple of years ago, however I stupidly declined the antivirals that were offered. About 6 weeks later, I had what they call a pseudo relapse. My body was not happy with me, it lasted a couple of weeks and I was back to my "normal".

@AndreaG I’m sorry to hear that, it sounds like you were ‘lucky’ it wasn’t permanent.
