Friend with severe neurological symptoms
Hi everyone, I’m not sure if anyone has experienced this but I have a friend who has been experiencing some pretty intense neurological symptoms for the last couple of years and is currently dealing with what I would describe as a relapse. (He’s been told that he either has a brain tumour, MS or brain bleed) I’m very concerned about him, he seems to not want to go to the hospital even though he’s experiencing numbness in his chest and up his neck and I don’t know how to gently suggest that he goes to the ER. He’s a big dude who has been turned away by doctors before because they think he wants steroids ☠️ I want to support him but also as someone with MS and knows that his symptoms are a big red flag I don’t want to scare him, I think he’s already pretty frightened! Any words of wisdom would be appreciated.
Hi there, I think it is great to have a friend like you to support him diring this time. I think just being honest is good enough. You can mention that you think his symptoms are worrysome and for piece of mind he should get tested. I hope everything works out
I can’t stop shaking and whenever the bera metrics drops I fell like I’m buzzing. Strangely, I feel the lightning. Does anyone experience this?
