I signed up for the StarMS Trial yesterday, but I also have to choose a DMT in case I don't get the stem cell transplant (or don't get on the trial based on my test results). I am trying to decide between the 6 monthly infusion(ocrelizumab) or the monthly injection (Kesimpta/ofatumumab) I am leaning toward the monthly injection but I keep flip flopping between the two. My MS Nurse is calling me next week for my decision...but I think that I need to call her before then and ask her to go through them both with me. Choosing a DMT is a big decision for someone who won't even have a paracetamol when they had a bad headache in the past. I also started on Gabapentin today - 100mg three times a day for a week, then 200mg three times a day for a week, then 300mg per day for a week - then I have to go see my gp and see how I am doing. I feel very overwhelmed at the moment. I only got really poorly in November, diagnosed in December and signed up for the trial yesterday. Everything has happened so fast and I feel like nothing has sunk in yet.
